Winner: Top Pre & Postnatal Trainer in NSW

Your body is doing something extraordinary, and it deserves training that respects that without wrapping you in cotton wool. This is the work I love most.

During pregnancy

What I see again and again is that women can usually do much more than they’ve been told. The goal is to keep you strong, comfortable and confident, adapting as your body changes rather than stopping altogether.

  • Strength and Pilates adapted for each trimester
  • Easing the common niggles: back, hips, pelvic girdle and ribs
  • Breathing, pelvic floor and birth prep work
  • Clear options for every exercise, so you can listen to your body on the day

After birth, one stage at a time

There’s no rush and no single timeline. This is roughly how a return to training tends to look, and we’ll move at whatever pace your body sets.

  1. 0–6 weeks

Rest, breathing, gentle connection with your core and pelvic floor, and short walks.

  2. 6–12 weeks

Once you’re cleared, rebuilding core and glute strength and getting comfortable moving again.

  3. 3–6 months

Adding load and variety, and working on the strength that lifting a growing baby asks of you.

  4. 6 months +

Back to the training you love, and often stronger than before. Running, lifting, whatever’s next.

C-section recovery, diastasis and rib flare all get extra attention, and I’m always happy to work alongside your women’s health physio.

Ways to train with me

1:1 coaching

Omnia Movement in Manly, or at home around Cremorne and Manly

The most tailored option, and the one I recommend if you have pain, a diastasis, or just want someone keeping a close eye. Home visits make life much easier with a newborn, and bub can join in.

In their words

Ten years of clients getting stronger.

“I’m a chiropractor and have trained with many Pilates/yoga teachers over the years, and I can say that hands down, Bridget is the best I’ve ever come across, by far. Her knowledge, experience and classes are excellent and I’ve sent many patients her way without any concern.”
Barney LucasChiropractor
“I did 1-1 classes with Bridget throughout my pregnancy, she had a really good understanding of the changes I was going through and how I would need to adapt my Pilates. At the same time, I found she really pushed and challenged me to advance (even as I was getting bigger!), much more so than any other prenatal exercise I did. I went into birth and recovery feeling super strong and fit thanks to Bridget!”

“After my second child, I was stiff, experiencing lower back pain and a bit unsure about how to restart exercise. Doing Pilates with Bridget really helped me build back my strength and flexibility. She is a real expert in postnatal provision and has a lovely balance of being supportive but making you push yourself. We started off in person and I was sceptical that the sessions wouldn’t be as high quality when we moved online. But I found the online program just as impactful as the in-person sessions.”
Laura BPostnatal, in person then online
“Bridget’s attentive Pilates sessions were such an important part of my post-birth recovery. I had a caesarean section and was very weak but found my strength came extremely quickly after we started our sessions. Bridget is very detailed and knowledgeable. Her flexible approach made it really easy to manage while I had a baby with me at our sessions.”
Sarah CPostnatal, after a caesarean
“Bridget was incredibly helpful in helping me rebuild my core strength and general fitness in the postnatal period. Her personal training was supportive but challenging and meticulous at the same time. Working with her meant I ended up feeling fitter and stronger than I had before pregnancy.”
Katherine RPostnatal
“My sessions with Bridget are still the hardest sessions even though I box and lift weights! She has amazing attention to detail and focuses on correct methods and alignment, and you’ll feel safe in her hands. I trained with her throughout my pregnancy and when I got back into exercising afterwards it was just the right pace to slowly build my fitness again.”
Maria GhaniPregnancy & beyond
“Sessions were very helpful during pregnancy to maintain strength and definitely helped during birth and beyond. She carefully selected exercises suitable for each trimester. We also worked together after birth to ease me back into exercising. I would recommend her to any pregnant woman.”
