Brand new to it, pregnant, newly postpartum, or already lifting and wanting more? Pick whichever sounds most like you.
New to training · beginners welcome
Most people arrive having either done nothing for years or a lot of the wrong thing. Neither is a problem, but starting without knowing how your body moves is how people end up sore and give up by week three.
So we begin by looking at how you breathe, how you load, where you’re stiff and what feels off. Everything after that is built around what we find, in person or with your own program in the app.
Strength & performance
If you’re already training and want to get genuinely stronger (heavier lifts, better control, fewer niggles), this is strength coaching with a Pilates coach’s eye for how you’re actually moving.
Train 1:1 at Omnia Movement in Manly for the full boutique studio experience, or get your own online program and train wherever you are, with weekly check-ins and adjustments.
Pregnancy · all trimesters
Staying strong through pregnancy tends to mean more energy, better sleep, less back and pelvic pain, and an easier time through labour and recovery. The research supports it, and having coached hundreds of women through pregnancy, it’s what I see too.
No two pregnancies are the same, so we adjust as your body changes and you build a real understanding of how to move and what feels right. Go 1:1 for coaching built around you, or use the pregnancy workouts in the app.
Postnatal recovery
The first six weeks are about healing, not training: breathing, gentle reconnection and rest. After that, almost everyone gets a green light and no plan, which is where people either do far too much too soon, or quietly do nothing for a year.
We start with a proper check of your core, pelvic floor and breathing, then rebuild in order, all the way back to lifting, running or classes. Bub is always welcome.
Perimenopause, menopause & beyond
Changing hormones affect bone density, muscle mass, sleep and joints, and this is exactly the stage where loaded strength work does the most good, not the least.
Progressive strength, balance and mobility work built for your body and your history, at a pace that leaves you feeling better rather than wrecked.
Injury recovery & pain management
Backs, shoulders, knees, pelvic pain, long-standing niggles. Pilates-based strength work is very good at this, because it starts with control before load.
I’m always happy to work alongside your physio or chiro, so your training and your rehab point in the same direction instead of undoing each other.
What is Kala?
Kala means anything is possible. It’s 1:1 coaching, online programming and an on-demand app, all built on one idea: Pilates, strength and mobility work better together.
I work with beginners through to athletes, pregnant and postnatal women, people in peri and post-menopause, and anyone who wants to move and feel better in their body.
The goal is simple: to help you feel strong, capable and confident in your body, whatever season of life you’re in.
Progressive weights, done well. Learn to lift properly, so carrying kids, shopping and suitcases up stairs becomes no big deal.
Deep core connection, breath and control. The foundation that makes everything else work better, pelvic floor included.
Joints that move freely, so the strength you build actually lasts. Down to the floor and back up, minus the grunt.
Challenging but supportive, with a bit of banter. Coaching you’ll look forward to, not dread.

Why Kala
Kala means anything is possible. I really believe that, and I love helping people find out how true it is for them.
Named Top Pre & Postnatal Trainer in NSW. Pregnancy and postnatal training is the heart of my work, and I’ve coached hundreds of women through it.
First-timers, athletes, new mums, perimenopause and injury rehab. Ex-professional ballet dancer, PCES certified, and qualified across Pilates and strength.
Everything I do is grounded in current research, and I’m always studying, so you get what works now, not last decade’s trend.
I genuinely love this. Expect encouragement, sharp attention to detail, and a coach who’s properly invested in you.
In their words
“I’m a chiropractor and have trained with many Pilates/yoga teachers over the years, and I can say that hands down, Bridget is the best I’ve ever come across, by far. Her knowledge, experience and classes are excellent and I’ve sent many patients her way without any concern.”
“I did 1-1 classes with Bridget throughout my pregnancy, she had a really good understanding of the changes I was going through and how I would need to adapt my Pilates. At the same time, I found she really pushed and challenged me to advance (even as I was getting bigger!), much more so than any other prenatal exercise I did. I went into birth and recovery feeling super strong and fit thanks to Bridget!”
“After my second child, I was stiff, experiencing lower back pain and a bit unsure about how to restart exercise. Doing Pilates with Bridget really helped me build back my strength and flexibility. She is a real expert in postnatal provision and has a lovely balance of being supportive but making you push yourself. We started off in person and I was sceptical that the sessions wouldn’t be as high quality when we moved online. But I found the online program just as impactful as the in-person sessions.”
“Bridget’s attentive Pilates sessions were such an important part of my post-birth recovery. I had a caesarean section and was very weak but found my strength came extremely quickly after we started our sessions. Bridget is very detailed and knowledgeable. Her flexible approach made it really easy to manage while I had a baby with me at our sessions.”
“Bridget was incredibly helpful in helping me rebuild my core strength and general fitness in the postnatal period. Her personal training was supportive but challenging and meticulous at the same time. Working with her meant I ended up feeling fitter and stronger than I had before pregnancy.”
“My sessions with Bridget are still the hardest sessions even though I box and lift weights! She has amazing attention to detail and focuses on correct methods and alignment, and you’ll feel safe in her hands. I trained with her throughout my pregnancy and when I got back into exercising afterwards it was just the right pace to slowly build my fitness again.”
“Sessions were very helpful during pregnancy to maintain strength and definitely helped during birth and beyond. She carefully selected exercises suitable for each trimester. We also worked together after birth to ease me back into exercising. I would recommend her to any pregnant woman.”
“Having done Pilates for a number of years due to a chronic back problem caused by too many years of playing sports, I have learnt the importance of working with a teacher that is right for you. Bridget has fantastic knowledge of my condition, what works for me, and what work needs to be done to ensure that my interest in sports isn’t restricted to the sidelines!”
“Bridget is by far the best Pilates teacher I’ve ever found. Her classes are a full body workout that work you really hard but leave you feeling amazing. I’ve built up so much strength and tone through them. I’ve loved every class I’ve attended and no two have ever been the same.”

About
I’ve spent over ten years coaching first-timers, athletes, women through pregnancy and back out the other side, people in perimenopause, and plenty rebuilding after injury.
Very different starting points, but the approach never changes: understand how your body moves, then build real strength from there. Kala means anything is possible, and whatever season you’re in, you’ll be supported and challenged in equal measure.
“I’m not asking for perfection, just presence and consistency.”
